Why Friday?

​We’re irrigating a sick kitty. Which takes guts, and very close attention to get the giant sub-cutaneous needle through the fir and under the skin – whilst a minature lion is roused in pain.

And woke up to flaky internet. Two calls to the ISP. Who knows if it’s fixed.

Then the Shipping co, called (delivering early, actually) to leave us with a little gas range for the Cottage. (I finally found one *WE* like.)

Upon opening, we discovered that the appliance was damaged – EVIDENTLY PRIOR – to being packed up. No exterior evidence of interference, even the Styrofoam packing components were in perfect condition.

Ever tried to contact customer support on a Friday?

Well, the guy (obviously in Mumbai) spoke decent English. Seller is a third party. An email is sent (a no-reply address) announcing we’ll be recontacted in 24-48 hrs.

Great way to spend the weekend. Trying not to miss a phone call from a number that will almost certainly be screened (because the caller isn’t in my contacts.)

I have so much to say about abysmal customer service. And I have. But not now.
