Sunday March 23 — **UPDATE**
Saturday March 22 – **UPDATE**
If you have been out calling for her, thank you so much…
WE ARE SO GRATEFUL!!
HOWEVER. Even as Bonnie remains missing, we ask everyone to stop searching for her. Let’s follow advice that this drives her deeper into cover.
We ask our Bandon neighbors to survey their property. Quietly, peek in places a frightened dog might hide. Call immediately if you see her.
Bonnie is tagged and chipped. When last seen she was wearing her collar.

Bonnie went missing from our care in N.E. Bandon during the storm Wednesday afternoon, shortly before 4PM.
She was seen and briefly captured shortly after 4PM in the vicinity of Bandon Dollar General. At that point her pursuer (a combat veteran) reports she had a bullet wound in the area of her tail. Upon escaping, she ran south along Michigan Avenue behind Rays Grocery.

She was last pursued by other parties near Michigan and 3rd Street just south of Hwy 101 … more or less across the highway between Coast Community Health and Bandon Veterinary.
Bonnie is nearly 7 years old and very fit. Though missing her left front leg, she’s extremely quick and strong. She is not dangerous and tends to be very quiet.
We believe that due to her wounds she may have found a place to hide. Inside a shed or under a deck. She may not have been able to move again after taking shelter.
We ask anyone in Bandon to have a look around your property. Is there a place she might have squeezed into?
$500 will be paid for your direct intervention / help in her recovery.
