Return To 20th Century Values?

It used to be that publicity had guardrails. Bad press was toxic to business. The presumption was that consumers lived by the conviction of their moral values.

In the current era, the most egregious failures are valuable.

#Xitter abuses millions of customers in #Brazil – because the ongoing publicity is more valuable. Out of legal spite.

Seems ironic that the worst political offenders posture as advocates for returning to mid 20th century values.
